Connecting Global Business Through Overseas Chinese Networks | PITO Showcases at Indonesia Trade Exchange
On June 6, the Indonesia-focused economic and trade exchange event, “Connecting Global Business Through Overseas Chinese Networks,” convened at the Westin Pazhou Hotel during the Canton Fair. Hosted by the Haizhu District Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, the event aimed to bolster bilateral trade relations.

Guangdong P&T Porcelain was officially invited to participate, joining Indonesian Chinese business representatives and leading Guangzhou enterprises to strengthen China–Indonesia trade cooperation via the overseas Chinese platform. PITO’s Chaozhou intangible cultural heritage blue-and-white porcelain products attracted significant interest from attendees.
The event brought together Indonesian trade representatives, overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, and prominent Guangzhou-based companies across multiple industries. Discussions focused on Indonesian investment policies, import-export cooperation, commercial hospitality tableware procurement, and the international expansion of cultural and creative products. During the corporate presentation session, PITO highlighted the heritage of Chaozhou blue-and-white porcelain, sharing insights into traditional hand-painting techniques, cultural product design, international adaptations for daily-use ceramic tableware, and customized solutions for the Indonesian foodservice market.

Following the presentations, a dedicated networking session generated active business discussions. Attendees visited PITO’s display area to examine the glaze texture, traditional Chaozhou blue-and-white patterns, and hand-painted detailing. Visitors sought details on product materials, OEM/ODM customization requirements, export tariffs, hospitality tableware solutions, and collaborative cultural product development. Numerous hospitality supply chain professionals and trade executives exchanged contacts on-site to explore future cooperation. Attendees noted PITO’s ability to integrate traditional blue-and-white porcelain heritage with modern hospitality applications, catering directly to Indonesia’s foodservice and luxury hotel sectors.

At the conclusion of the event, participants exchanged commemorative gifts and gathered for group photographs. Utilizing the international business platform established by the Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Haizhu District Overseas Chinese Affairs Bureau, PITO successfully established connections with Indonesian trade resources and gained insights into local market policies, laying a foundation for future expansion in Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian market.

Moving forward, PITO will continue to leverage its intangible cultural heritage blue-and-white porcelain as a medium for cultural and commercial exchange, capitalizing on growth opportunities across Southeast Asia and accelerating the international expansion of Chaozhou ceramic heritage products throughout Indonesia and the ASEAN region.
