Across Thousands of Miles, United by Blue & White Porcelain | Delegation from the Office of the President of Mozambique Visits PITO Greater Bay Area Headquarters

As the second phase of the Canton Fair continues to draw global attention, a delegation from the Office of the President of Mozambique paid a special visit to PITO’s Greater Bay Area headquarters for an on-site inspection. From the exhibition hall in Pazhou, Guangzhou, to the corporate headquarters, a dialogue grounded in quality and trust unfolded—between clay and glaze.

01 From Exhibition to Headquarters
A Journey of Trust
On April 25, PITO welcomed officials from the Office of the President of Mozambique. During their visit to the PITO booth at the Canton Fair (Phase 2), the guests were impressed by the brand’s bone china dinnerware and porcelain tableware, and soon expressed interest in visiting the headquarters for further evaluation.

The PITO team warmly received the delegation and guided them through the showroom at the Greater Bay Area headquarters. From bone china to color-glaze dinnerware sets, from classic collections to customized tableware, the guests experienced PITO’s extensive product range up close. They expressed strong recognition of both product quality and the company’s strict quality control standards.
During the tour, Assistant to the General Manager Lin Xiaoqin introduced PITO’s background and capabilities in detail. Originating from Chaozhou—known as the “Porcelain Capital of China”—PITO is a National High-Tech Enterprise and a “Specialized and Innovative” enterprise, certified as a Chinese Export Brand and recognized as an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in blue and white porcelain. The company focuses on high-end hotel tableware, state banquet porcelain, and customized ceramic solutions. With a 40,000㎡ production base in Chaozhou, its products are exported to more than 30 countries. PITO has supported government reception projects in over a dozen countries, including Thailand, Tajikistan, Nigeria, Oman, and Somalia, and has frequently appeared at Chinese state banquets. In 2023, PITO also designed a customized dinnerware collection, “Auspicious Flower City,” for a reception for the French President.

02 Witnessing Quality
Presidential Office Delegation Praises Chinese Ceramics & Craftsmanship
At the showroom, the guests carefully examined a wide range of ceramic products, including high-quality bone china, porcelain plates, and customized dinner plates. They repeatedly touched the glaze surfaces, observed translucency, and inquired in detail about ceramic techniques and production capacity.

“The texture is extremely refined, with a warm and elegant gloss that is never harsh. This truly reflects the high standard of fine porcelain,” remarked a representative from the Mozambican Presidential Office. They also noted that PITO’s luxury and premium tableware combines durability with aesthetic appeal, expressing strong recognition of the overall quality of Chinese-made products.

03 Business Discussions
Exploring Wholesale & OEM Opportunities
Following the tour, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions. The delegation expressed strong interest in PITO’s products and Chinese manufacturing, and preliminary exchanges were conducted regarding future cooperation, including product specifications, OEM tableware, and private-label dinnerware supply capabilities.

A representative from the Presidential Office stated: “Through the Canton Fair, we visited PITO’s booth and witnessed the strength of Made in China. There is significant potential for cooperation between Mozambique and China. We look forward to building long-term partnerships with high-quality dinnerware and hotel tableware suppliers like PITO.” PITO expressed its willingness to provide customized porcelain dinnerware and stable supply support for the Mozambican market, with further discussions to follow.

Hands-On Cultural Exchange
Beyond business discussions, PITO arranged a special blue and white porcelain painting experience. Under the guidance of instructors, the guests painted patterns on raw ceramic bodies, experiencing the appeal of ceramic art and handmade craftsmanship.

“This is my first time painting on porcelain with a brush—it feels truly amazing,” shared one guest while focusing on delicate brushwork. Upon learning that blue and white porcelain is a thousand-year-old intangible cultural heritage, the guests expressed deep admiration. They took their hand-painted pieces as souvenirs and showed interest in incorporating blue and white porcelain elements into future customized products for the Mozambican market.

05 Expanding Global Connections
PITO’s Growing International Network
From the initial encounter at the Canton Fair to the in-depth headquarters visit, and further to cultural engagement through hands-on experience, the visit has opened a new avenue for PITO to expand into the African market.

PITO remains committed to quality as its foundation and design as its bridge. As a professional ceramic tableware manufacturer and bone china supplier, the company serves hospitality and catering clients in over 50 countries and regions. Looking ahead, PITO will continue to expand its presence along global trade routes, bringing the craftsmanship of Chinese ceramics to more tables worldwide.
